Strategist
Growing up, I wanted to be She-Ra, a chemist (I called it a potion scientist back then) or a writer. Unfortunately, I found out I couldn’t be She-Ra and my dad solidified that fact by using my sword to stir paint one day. I quickly learned that chemistry was more than cool glass beakers, fun colors and interesting chemical reactions. Also, I didn’t have any chemistry with chemistry. In the back of my mind I knew I always wanted to be a writer, but the real question was how was I going to be a writer and be able to support myself? The answer turned out to be copywriting. However that answer morphed during my time as a copywriter. I realized that I'd rather be doing what the strategists do. You’ll find that I have a natural curiosity about a lot of things and I love to learn. That's where strategy comes in. I love to delve into the why and figure out what motivates people. So, I’ve taken my secret identity as a She-Ra wannabe, my not-so-secret philomathic tendencies and my writing skills and parlayed them into being a strategist.
